Graham Potter warns Kai Havertz after his goal celebration against Everton

Chelsea manager Graham Potter has issued a warning to the team's scorer Kai Havertz about the German's celebration of his goal during the dismal 2-2 stalemate between the Blues and Everton.

With 14 minutes remaining in the game, Havertz's penalty-kick goal appeared to have given the Blues the victory, but Ellis Sims' injury-time goal for Everton helped the Toffees salvage a draw. It was Sims' first goal for the club.

When Havertz scored his third goal in as many games, he mocked Everton goalkeeper Pickford after defeating him from the penalty spot. Potter warned Havertz not to repeat those antics.

“When players score, they have something like an out-of-body experience,” said Potter in his post match press conference

“I didn’t score many myself so I wouldn’t know. You should enjoy the celebration, I don’t think you need to involve the opponent.

“That would be my perspective.”
