Mr. P, a stage name for Nigerian singer-songwriter Peter Okoye, has announced the start of his tour.
The musician said that his European tour would go as planned once the Nigerian election was completed.
According to P-Square musician Peter Okoye, the results of Nigeria's 2023 elections won't force him to cancel his concert tour.
According to reports, the Nigerian singer would be a steadfast Labor Party voter in the 2023 election.
Peter Okoye said on his Twitter timeline that he was now touring the globe for music outside of Nigeria.
He tweeted: "Election is over! While waiting for the authentic results! Am in a country “that works” learning that BIG LESSON I am taught! We go dey alright las las!"
After the results of the election, a follower informed Peter Okoye that he wanted to leav e Nigeria;
"God bless you for everything you did..@PeterPsquare I wish I had the opportunity to travel, after everything that happened in this election, I don't think I will ever come out of this depression I'm mentally down.. "
The singer and dancer replied saying: "No hope is lost here my dear! I didn’t japa or ran away! I am here on our world tour! Although as a successful artiste well known, we are hardly in Nigeria! Have faith! Nigeria will be great again!🇳🇬
