The manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, has said that he will join the team's supporters in chanting about winning the league this year.
On Sunday, Arsenal supporters could be heard yelling the championship winning song loudly during their 3-0 victory against Fulham.
After the win, they regained a five-point lead over Manchester City in the Premier League standings.
Manchester City previously defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 to cut the deficit to to three, putting further pressure on Arsenal.
When questioned about the shouting by the supporters, Arteta said: “I would be singing with them to support the team, that’s for sure! They’ve been exceptional.
‘The amount of people we had coming here, their attitude, their passion, the energy that they’re putting in is incredible.
“And we’re going to need that and that’s a game-changer for us, so thank you!”
Mikel Arteta will now turn his attention to his team's Thursday fixture against Sporting Lisbon.
The Gunners will host Portugese side at the Emirates stadium in the second leg tie of round of 16 Europa League clash.
Arsenal played a 2-2 draw in Lisbon last week in the first leg.
