Premier League giants Man City set to offer Haaland new contract which will earn him £500k per week

Erling Haaland is expected to accept Manchester City's astonishing new contract offer.

The 22-year-old has already scored 42 goals for the Premier League winners in his first season.

Real Madrid, who are said to be interested in signing him in the summer of 2024, have been linked to him due to his performance.

Yet according to The UK Sun, City will meet with the Norwegian striker at the conclusion of current campaign to discuss a new contract.

Haaland's new contract will make him the highest-paid player in the Premier League, earning him £500,000 a week.

The present contract for Haaland runs until 2027, but as part of the plans to keep Haaland's services despite Real Madrid's interest, Man City will extend it by a year.

The midfielder presently makes £375,000 a week, which puts him on par with teammate Kevin De Bruyne and Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea as the highest-paid performers in the Premier League.
