
Eddie Nketiah and Jorginho should be available for Mikel Arteta's team's match against Bournemouth tomorrow at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners will host Bournemouth at the Emirates stadium on Saturday evening in their Premier League clash.
If you recall that Eddie Nketiah was compelled to leave shortly after the final whistle of the match against Everton.
While Jorginho was sent off at halftime in the game as he struggled with an illness.
Ahead of Bournemouth clash, Mikel Arteta remains calm about the fitness of Eddie Nketiah who has scored five goals so far in the league.
The English forward has been leading the attack since Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus sustained a keen injury.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he said: “We are assessing [Eddie] and it’s a bit uncertain what’s going to happen with him, to be honest. Let’s see and keep the options open. He’s very positive about it, so hopefully he will be fine.“
Arteta also revealed that Jorginho has recovered from the illness. If you recall that 31 years has started the last two games and becoming fans favorite.
Jorginho joined Arsenal on the January transfer window from Chelsea f 11m pounds. He looked to be filling the midfield role whenever Thomas Partey is injured.
On Jorginho fitness: “Jorgi’s fine. He had an illness and he was suffering but to be fair, he put in a great effort and shift in the first half. We decided to take him off but he’s fit now.”
Mikel Arteta also revealed that Gabriel Jesus is working on coming back from his long time injury.
The 25-year-old has been out of action since December where he injured his knee in World Cup game against Cameroon.
"He’s not far now,” Arteta updated. “I don’t want to give a timeline but he’s doing certain things with the team and certain things outside the team. He’s not very close but he’s not far at all. He’s feeling better every day and the doctors are confident with the way the injury is evolving."
The Gunners fathfuls remain hopeful that Jesus who has five goals beogre he got injured will be available before the end of March.
Arsenal coach added: “We need to see when he’s back what level he is, how we’re going to fit him in and how we’re going to load him with minutes and in which games. Like everybody else, he’ll have to earn his place but we know what Gaby can give to the team.
“I think [his rehab] been pretty straightforward. At the beginning, we were really concerned with the possible extent of the injury because we were talking about a few options there. Thankfully it wasn’t that bad, but it was a long-term injury, it required surgery and it’s not [pleasant], especially the first few weeks."
Recall the Brazilian joined Arsenal from Manchester City for 45m pounds at the start of the season.
Arteta hopes that Jesus will be back to his best as he could help Arsenal clinch the title.
Arteta concluded:“But knowing Gaby, he’s been through that before. His mentality is incredible and the [physio] team has done a really good job with him to put him in the position he’s in today.”
Arsenal are currently 5 points ahead of second placed Manchester City who have 55 points.
Although Pep Guardiola side will face Newcastle United in the early Saturday fixture.
