Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta reveals how he plan to stop Manchester City's Erling Haaland

Mikel Arteta has revealed his strategy to stop Erling Haaland from scoring against his team when they play at the Etihad Stadium. 

The Gunners will travel to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night in their Premier League clash. 

Erling Haaland was discussed by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta at a press conference before to the critical Premier League match against Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has acknowledged that Erling Haaland is the best striker in the league ahead of tomorrow's matchup against Manchester City.

With 32 goals in the league this year, Haaland is now only one goal away from surpassing Mohamed Salah's record of 38 goals in a Premier League season. Gunners manager Arteta praised the Norwegian international in the days leading up to his team's visit to the Etihad Stadium tomorrow.

Arsenal presently leads second-placed City by five points at the top of the standings, but Pep Guardiola's team has two games in hand on its championship rivals. 

Prior to drawing their past three league games and giving up seven goals in the process, the Gunners were enjoying a far more comfortable position.

"When you look at the numbers, there is no comparison with anybody else," the Spaniard said when asked about City's No.9. "He's able to produce that as well because the setup is done in the right way for him.

"Even with him they have the capacity to play in a different way." 

When quizzed on his potential plan to try and keep Haaland quiet, Arteta said: "We are working on their threats and their weaknesses. We know what they are. With City it starts with the goalkeeper.

"Just focus on us. We know what they can do. They can do so many things that you have to be adaptable."
