Eddie Nketiah, a striker for Arsenal, has returned to first training session ahead of Sunday's trip to West Ham, providing the squad with a much-needed injury boost as they battle for the Premier League crown.
Nketiah has been out for more than a month due to an ankle issue, but on Tuesday, he was seen practicing in London Colney in anticipation of his comeback.
After a brief cameo appearance against Everton at the beginning of March, the 23-year-old injured his ankle worse.
According to reports, Nketiah may now be able to play in this Sunday's London derby against West Ham.
Images of Eddie Nketiah working out in London Colney were posted by the Arsenal football team.
The caption states: "Eddie's back on the training pitch"
Eddie Nketiah, who has nine goals across all competitions this season, filled in well for Gabriel Jesus during the Brazilian international's lengthy recovery from a knee injury.
Jesus is anticipated to continue leading the line as a member of the potent front three with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, thus Arteta may now use the striker as a backup goal-scoring option.
