"Dear Neapolitans, you Have Waited Long Enough" - Victor Osimhen sends message to fans ahead of first Serie A title in 33 years

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, whose team Napoli is on the verge of winning the Italian Serie A, has kicked off the championship celebrations in Italy.

Victor Osimhen, a representative of Nigeria, has started the Serie A victory celebrations on his social media page.

After a tough victory against Juventus in Turin on Sunday, Napoli is very certain to win the Serie A championship for the first time in 33 years.

Osimhen participated in the Partenopei's 1-0 victory against the Old Lady. Giacomo Raspadori was the game's hero.

Osimhen played the whole game against Juventus, however he was unable to increase his league-leading total of 21 goals.

He made two assists and set up two opportunities, but his teammate stole the show with a late winner.

“Dear Neapolitans, you Have Waited Long Enough,” Osimhen’s IG post reads.

The 24-year-old has, though, already begun to revel in the possibility that Napoli may win for the first time in more than three decades as early as next weekend.

“Now. It’s Your Turn,” he added. 

The Nigerian attacker sent a brief message to Napoli supporters on his Instagram page, informing them that it is now their chance to rejoice as Italian champions.

Osimhen and his colleagues might win the championship next weekend in front of their home crowd when they visit Salernitana on Saturday with seven games remaining.

However, they must defeat the visitors and then hold out hope that Inter Milan would choose their side against Lazio the following day.
