Prior to Tuesday's second leg matchup against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals, Kalidou Koulibaly was not seen during an open Chelsea training session.
On Monday morning at Cobham, the Blues conducted a practice with the exception of Koulibaly. The 31-year-old defender ran back to retrieve a loose ball at the Santiago Bernabeu last week but went off in Chelsea's loss with a hamstring injury.
Though both Thiago Silva and Ruben Loftus-Cheek did not play for Chelsea in their loss to Brighton on Saturday at Stamford Bridge, they both trained on Sunday. And the same goes for Kai Havertz and N'Golo Kante. Lewis Hall, a young player, was also present with the first team.
