A picture of Ryan Gravenberch wearing a Liverpool jersey has surfaced amid rumors that he would leave Bayern Munich this summer.
The international from the Netherlands moved to the German powerhouses from Ajax last summer, but he has had trouble getting playing time due to stiff competition for a starting position in the team's midfield.

Due to his struggles with obtaining regular minutes, last week there were rumors that his father, who represents him, had begun preliminary discussions with Liverpool about a summer transfer.

These had occurred in his home nation on Tuesday, according to an early story by The Times.

An image of the £25 million midfielder wearing the team's jersey while at what looks to be a gym has stoked excitement among Liverpool fans even further.

He is sporting the uniform from the 2019–20 season, albeit the exact date of the shot is unknown.

This summer, Liverpool is anticipated to start a massive reconstruction since the midfield needs a substantial overhaul as a number of players are either projected to go or are no longer seen to be good enough.

Gravenberch has been extensively connected with transfers to Merseyside this summer, along with players like Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount, who are both presently playing for Chelsea.

The 20-year-old has only started one league game for Bayern this year; he has made a total of 16 substitute appearances.

When he debuted at Ajax, he was one of the most sought-after prospects in Europe, and Bayern signed him last year.

He has also earned a cap for Holland, however he was not selected for their World Cup team in 2014 because head coach Louis van Gaal had cautioned players not to leave Dutch clubs in the offseason.

The Reds are ninth in the Premier League right now, and with a crucial match against Leeds slated for Monday night, their chances of finishing in the top four are dwindling by the minute.

Bayern, meanwhile, just hired Tuchel to try and lead the team over the finish line. Bayern is two points clear of Borussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga.

However, after their 3-0 loss to Manchester City on Tuesday, they are up against it in the Champions League.
