A clever social media tweet from Manchester United's administration before of their FA Cup semi-final against Brighton has had people talking.

A number of Arsenal players came under fire last week as they prepared for their pivotal Premier League match against West Ham for failing to acknowledge a child mascot as she held out a shirt for signing.

A video with the description "Making memories with our mascot" was released by The Gunners' official Twitter account, and it has now received over 13 million views.

A lot of people were upset with the Arsenal players because they did not engage with the little girl, who was obviously in awe of her heroes.

A week later, a video was broadcast on Manchester United's official Twitter account with the message,  "Making memories with our mascots".

As they approach the Wembley dressing room, as seen in the video below, Erik ten Hag, David de Gea, Casemiro, Wout Weghorst, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, and Anthony shake hands with the young supporters.

Presenter Laura Woods of talkSPORT harshly criticized certain Arsenal players for their lack of eye contact after the mascot incident last week.

However, Woods acknowledged that she had spoken to the team, who had verified that she had spent extra time with the players during warm-ups.
