In Sunday's Premier League match against Bournemouth, an emotional Pablo Fornals' spectacular scorpion kick reduced West Ham's relegation concerns.
After a convincing 4-0 victory against struggling Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, David Moyes' team is now six points above the relegation zone.
The Hammers, who had a fantastic week with to victories against AA Gent and Arsenal, got the scoring going early on thanks to Michail Antonio.
With 12 minutes remaining, Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta quickly made it two before in-form Declan Rice gave the opposition a three goal lead.
Then, following some outstanding wing play from Jarrod Bowen, Hammers playmaker Pablo Fornals opted to score one of the goals of the weekend.
As shown in the images below, Fornals was able to correct his posture before acrobatically hurling his right boot at the ball.
He then looked to be crying as he joined his colleagues in their celebration.
Although he hasn't been playing as much as he'd like to this season, Fornals, who joined West Ham from Villarreal in 2019 for a record £24 million, has five goals in 41 appearances for David Moyes.
