An Arsenal supporter who begged Haaland to allow his team win the league went viral.
On Friday, April 21, a tweet from an Arsenal supporter pleading with Erling Haaland to let his club win the league went viral.

Arsenal's situation might have been considerably worse, but they managed to hold off a resolute Southampton and salvage a point.

Erling Haaland, a star player for Man City, was among many who tweeted very soon after the game to claim that Arsenal had bottled the league.

The Norwegian, who is up next against Arsenal and has a mind-boggling 32 league goals in his first season in the Premier League, was unable to resist taking a playful dig at his team's championship rivals.

Haaland uploaded three pictures of himself smiling while exercising with the caption "Mood still."

Long-term Arsenal supporters will remember the 22-year-old's response when the team lost a few days ago.

Even while Haaland's remark was entertaining in and of itself, a supporter's eerie appeal to the Man City shooter stole the show.

After Haaland's tweet, a person going by the handle @Ballinky posted in the comments:“Please bro just let us win the league I never got to witness my club win the league please man you can win it next year.”

The message was fairly funny, but it undoubtedly reflected the sadness that many Arsenal supporters were now experiencing.

At 75 points right now, Arsenal is just five points ahead of Manchester City, who, according to PremierLeague.com, might take over first place in the Premier League if they win their two remaining games.

The next match between the two teams is on April 26 and may determine the championship.

The two teams previously faced off on February 15, with Pep Guardiola's City winning 3-1 with to goals from Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish, and Haaland.
