Arsenal agrees fee with Monza over transfer of Pablo Mari on permanent deal

Arsenal defender Pablo Mari has agreed to move to Serie A after he spent a season loan with Monza.

The Brazilian defender joined the Gunners in 2021 from Brazilian side Flamengo but fell out of favour under Mikel Arteta. 

Mari who emerged third choice in the center back position was forced to join Monza on a loan deal. 

It's been gathered that the defender isn't interested in returning to the Emirates stadium because his starting shirt isn't guaranteed. 

According to reports, Pablo Mari's permanent move to Serie A club Monza is expected to bring in a £6 million fee for Arsenal.

The Gunners have already given Pablo Mari the green light to pursue his move to Serie A.
