Aaron Ramsdale, goalkeeper for Arsenal, has pledged that Trent Alexander-Arnold, a Liverpool fullback and compatriot, would never score against him.
The Liverpool player has yet to score against the England goalie, and she wants to keep it that way.
Ramsdale claims that this is the result of their tight friendship.
According to reports, He made this statement while participating in an interview with Ian Wright on the Premier League's YouTube channel.
“My rivalries come from all my friends, so Trent Alexander-Arnold, I can’t let him score. He’s one of my closest friends, and that is a major challenge for me.”
Ramsdale has played in 36 Premier League games this year and has recorded 13 clean sheets.
Prior to their decline, Arsenal's championship defense relied heavily on their goalie. But they could still finish well with their remaining two games of the season.
This weekend, Arsenal travel to Nottingham Forest before they host Wolverhampton in their final game of the campaign.
