Granit Xhaka, a midfielder for Arsenal, is expected to depart the team this summer.
Xhaka will return to the Bundesliga and join Bayer Leverkusen there.
The Swiss international joined the Gunners from Borussia Monchengladbach, where he had previously played.
He is about to agree to a four-year deal with Leverkusen.
“Granit Xhaka, set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season. No negotiations over new deal and plan to part ways in June.
“Bayer Leverkusen are in advanced talks to sign him — €15m fee.
“Understand personal terms are almost agreed over four year deal — June 2027,” transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted on Tuesday.
It also reported that Xhaka wants to finish the season in the high with the Gunners.
Arsenal travel to Forest this weekend and they host Wolverhampton at Emirates Stadium in their final home game.
