Beyoncé and Jay-Z, an American power couple, are said to have paid a whopping $200 million for a brand-new 30,000-square-foot property in Malibu, California, the most expensive house ever sold in the state.
The pair, who already own a mansion in the exclusive Bel Air district, broke the record from their new neighbor, venture mogul Marc Andreessen, who in 2021 purchased his house next door for an astounding $177 million.

The highest real estate sale in the nation, according to TMZ, was $238 million for a NYC flat. The $200 million residence is reportedly also the second most expensive property purchase in the nation.

The house was reportedly privately marketed for a staggering $295 million, so the couple really got an incredible bargain, according to the article.

The residence is situated on an eight-acre cliff with a view of the Pacific Ocean in the Paradise Cove neighborhood, often known as Billionaires' Row.

considered a work of art, it was created by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, who is also creating the Malibu home that Kanye West just purchased.

One of the largest art collectors in the world, William Bell, owned and constructed the home. The whole edifice was constructed by Bell over the course of roughly 15 years.
