Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the next president, has returned from his business trip to France.
The two-term governor of Lagos State arrived on his own plane at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at about 2.15pm, where he was greeted by party members, fans, and other governors.
His vice-president-elect, senator Kashim Shettima, governor Abdullahi Ganduje, senator Ahmad Lawan, and senator Godswill Akpabio, the chosen candidate of the governing party for the position of Senate president in the 10th Assembly, were also part of the group.
Tinubu, who was wearing a blue "Babariga" and his signature headgear, was joined by his wife, Senator Oluremi, who was also dressed in a blue outfit.
