Joao Pedro has signed a deal with Brighton that expires in June 2028.
Brighton is happy to announce that it has reached an agreement to buy Watford striker Joao Pedro for an undisclosed sum.
The twenty-one-year-old Brazilian will formally sign a deal with the team that expires in June 2028 when the summer transfer window opens.
With Fluminense, Joao progressed through the juvenile divisions in his native country before making his professional debut in March 2019.
He reportedly joins Watford in 2020, according to reports. Joao made his debut in English football by scoring nine goals in the second tier, helping Watford finish second and return right away to the top division.
During that season, he scored three goals in the Premier League, including one in a 4-1 triumph against Manchester United. With 11 goals and four assists this season, he has been more successful in front of goal.
