Dortmund players left in tears after losing Bundesliga title to Bayern on final day of the season with 2-2 draw against Mainz

Players from Borussia Dortmund were in tears as they were denied the Bundesliga championship in the season's final match. 

The season's last game was seen At the Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund and Mainz played to a 2-2 tie, while Bayern beat Koln. 

Dortmund needed to win in order to maintain their two-point lead over Bayern Munich, who had 68 points going into the match. 

Sebastian Haller, on the other hand, missed Dortmund's opportunity to score a penalty during the game. 

After Mainz scored their second goal of the match, Dortmund rallied to earn a point. 

Bayern Munich has won the Bundesliga 11 times in the last 11 years.
