Arsenal's attempt to win the Premier League championship hinges on others in the last few weeks of the campaign; Manchester City currently has the lead with just a few games remaining.

The Gunners now trail Manchester City by one point despite having played one extra game.

Everton who are in race to survive relegation thumped Brighton Hove Albion 5-1 at the Amex stadium on Monday evening.

For Arsenal to have a chance, Pep Guardiola's team would need to lose two games, but after that, things won't be simple for City.

In the midst of that stretch, Manchester City plays Everton, Brighton, Chelsea, and Brentford in addition to two Champions League matches against Real Madrid.

Some of the teams there have something to prove, with the Toffees' match being an important one given their struggle to escape the possibility of relegation. They've showed glimpses of life under Sean Dyche as well, and a match against Brighton shown that they are still very much in the bottom-three fight.

The Toffees stunned the Seagulls in the first half and scored three fast goals to grab the lead, maybe providing a preview of the kind of performance Arsenal supporters would be hoping their team puts up versus City. Some admirers voiced their opinions on the prospect on social media.
