Since being fired, Patrick Vieira, the former manager of Crystal Palace, has declined three job offers from the Premier League.
The prestigious French publication L'Equipe indicates that Vieira was contacted by clubs like Leeds United and Leicester City.
Since then, Sam Allardyce and Dean Smith have been appointed by the respective clubs.
Prior to deciding to continue with Cooper, who had signed a new contract, Nottingham Forest had also intended to hire the Frenchman to replace him.
Vieira will instead focus on making a comeback to the Premier League this summer.
