"Heroes of the City" - Serie A yields to criticism with their post on the King of Napoli... sharing new photos of Victor Osimhen and other Napoli team mates

Serie A have bow to pressure after their recent post about the new king of Napoli. 

There have been several reactions from fans especially from Nigeria after Serie A shared post about Khvicha Kvaratskhelia being new king. 

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's appointment as King of Serie A in lieu of Victor Osimhen has angered Nigerians.

The word "racism" is now trending on social media in Nigeria as a result of a tweet from the Italian top-flight football league, Serie A.

On the official Serie A Twitter account, a picture of the late Diego Maradona crowning Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was posted.

This comes after Napoli won the Serie A title for first time since 1990. This came after their 1-1 draw against Udinese last week Thursday. 

Earlier today, the social media handle of Serie A shared new image of Kvaratskhelia, Victor Osimhen and Di Lorenzo on the stairs. 

From the image the three Napoli players were being captured by thousands of paparazzi and fans at the stadium. 

In another image, Serie A social media handler posted a throwback snap of Napoli legend Diego Maradona in similar posture.
