The Arsenal coach said, "The boys have been fantastic this season and have given everything to the fans. Prior to the start of this season, our objectives were to win the Europa League or any domestic cup and place in the top four in the Premier League standings. The EPL is currently the only goal in reach, and I am eager to see the season out with a trophy in our possession."
Arteta made the comments after Manchester City beat Leeds United 2-1 on Saturday to take the lead in the Premier League with 82 points, four games left. Arsenal is in second position with 78 points.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have been in first place in the Premier League rankings since November 2022, and they were even picked to win the coveted championship.
Manchester City, though, has moved closer to winning the title for the second straight season as a result of a spate of subpar performances in their past four Premier League games.
