Eberechi Eze, a striker for Crystal Palace, has ultimately chosen to represent England rather than Nigeria.
The 24-year-old, who is also eligible to play for Nigeria, has reportedly chosen to play for the Three Lions of England.

Eberechi Eze has received his first call-up to the England team ahead of next month's Euro 2024 qualifiers.

Eze, a midfielder for Crystal Palace, has six goals in his previous eight Premier League games.

Eze, who has received honors at the U20 and U21 levels, will get the opportunity to represent England in their next matches against Malta in Ta' Qali on June 16 and North Macedonia at Old Trafford on June 19.

The young player's skills with the ball have been acknowledged by England coach Gareth Southgate.

"We've liked him for a long time," said Southgate. "He was very unfortunate just before the Euros. We were going to call him into a prep camp and he got an injury.

"He has finished the season very strongly, he can play in a couple of positions across that front line. He has high quality and bursts of speed to go past players with those dribbling skills."
