Raheem Sterling left out of England squad ahead of upcoming games following meeting with Gareth Southgate

Raheem Sterling won't be playing for England in the next matches.

Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge at the beginning of the season, the 28-year-old has had difficulty performing. 

If you remember, Chelsea acquired Sterling from Manchester City, but the goals haven't been coming. 

Sterling met with England Manager Gareth Southgate, claims Fabrizio Romano. 

It has been reported that Sterling consented to be left off the team in order to improve his physical condition in preparation for the next new season.
