Reece James apologize to fans as he confirms he will miss Chelsea's final game of season due to another injury

Reece James, a defender for Chelsea, apologizes to the supporters for a terrible season and promises to compete for championships the next one.

James will miss the last contest of current season against Newcastle United due to a hamstring injury, according to interim manager Frank Lampard.

The twenty-three-year-old hasn't played since his team's Champions League quarterfinal loss to Real Madrid. 

He has missed a lot of games this season again because of injury. Taking to his social media space, he captioned: “I’m sure you’ve seen the news. I wont be back for the last game. It’s been tough for me. I’m sorry this szn hasn’t gone as we all wanted. Next szn I’ll be back stronger than ever, and we’ll be back fighting for trophies! Stay well and see u soon. Love u all – Reece.”

Whatever happens on Sunday, Chelsea is certain of finishing in the bottom second half of the Premier League table. Additionally, they failed to qualify for either of the domestic cup tournaments.
