Chef Dammy, a well-known Nigerian chef, has replied to Guinness World Records' assertion on her 120-hour cook-a-thon.

After a five-day stretch starting on Friday, June 9, Chef Dammy's cook-a-thon hit the 120-hour milestone on Wednesday, June 14.

Guinness World Record later confirmed that Dammy did not apply before trying to beat the previous record holder, Hilda Baci, who accomplished the longest cooking time with an outstanding period of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

The Ekiti chef acknowledged her joy at sticking through the 120-hour cook-off and not giving up on the event that helped establish her reputation in Nig eria.

She wrote, “I stated this earlier that I embarked on this journey to test my capability not for any GWR.. l am happy that I cooked for 120 hours. I am proud that I never gave up”
