Nigeria's tallest man, Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, a well-known Nollywood actor, has died.
As long as he lived, Agoro attracted attention with his frightening height. He was 7 feet 4 inches tall.
According to sources, Afeez lost his fight with the illness known as Acromegaly on Wednesday night.
The actor was sent to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), where complications led to his death.
The actor apparently had a hasty hospital admission on Wednesday, June 14, 2023; unfortunately, despite treatment, he died from complications related to his illness.
To his family, close friends, and fans who closely followed his path, his passing is a devastating loss.
On May 14, 2023, Agoro submitted a request for financial assistance asking for $5 million to pay for his ongoing hip arthritis therapy. The money was meant to pay for the necessary surgery and treatment associated with replacing a ball and socket joint.
Agoro, who was diagnosed with gigantism, or acromegaly, at the age of 19, believed that people' goodwill would help him get the urgently required medical care.
Tragically, despite the help and love from the community, his condition became worse.
On the evening of June 14, 2023, the tall legend died away at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) due to unanticipated complications.
