Christopher Nkunku, who played for RB Leipzig, ended the 2022-23 German Bundesliga season as the league's joint-top scorer.
Nkunku, who was in excellent shape, got injured and was unable to participate for France in the world cup event in Qatar.
He has now recovered from that injury, kept up his stellar play for his club team, and earned a well-deserved invitation to the French squad for the forthcoming footballing international break.
Christopher Nkunku is anticipated to wear the blue jersey of Chelsea beginning next season.
