Femi Gbajabiamila is appointed as Chief of Staff by President Tinubu

Femi Gbajabiamila, the current speaker of the House of Representatives, has been named the chief of staff for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to reports, the president considered all potential candidates vying for the position among his supporters before choosing Gbajabiamila.

Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila would have to postpone being elected to the House of Representatives for a sixth term since the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had not yet issued him a certificate of return.
