Sandro Tonali has been signed by Newcastle United on a long-term contract after being released by AC Milan.
As they try to assemble their team ahead of the next season, Eddie Howe signs the Italian midfielder as his first acquisition this summer.
Tonali will sign a deal until 2029 for €7 million year with €2 million in add-ons.
Newcastle reportedly spent €70 million for the midfielder, who is presently competing for Italy U21 in the ongoing EURO event.
Sport journalist Fabrizio Romano noted that while the Tonali purchase is finalized, it won't be revealed today or this week because legal formalities must be finished first.
He will likely be introduced to the audience next week.
