Pep Guardiola's assistant, Enzo Maresca has been appointed coach of Leicester

Enzo Maresca, 43, a former assistant manager for Manchester City, has been named manager of Leicester City.

Maresca, who assisted Pep Guardiola in securing a record triple with Manchester City, will be in charge of Leicester City in what can be considered a jump in his managerial career.

prior to taking the position at Leicester City, Maresca had assistant positions at a number of teams, including the first team manager position at Parma in Serie B.

Dean Smith will be replaced as the manager of Leicester City by Enzo Maresca after the latter's brief tenure, during which he oversaw eight final Premier League games, failed to save the Foxes from relegation.
