Ronaldo receives Guinness World Records certificate for most caps by male player

Ronaldo, a forward for Al-Nassr, was awarded a Guinness World Records certificate for having the most male player international caps.

The player with the most caps for Kuwait, Bader Al-Mutawa, had 196, which is the closest to Ronaldo's total.

In August 2003, against Kazakhstan, former Manchester United star Ronaldo made his international debut for Portugal.

With 122 goals, he also holds the all-time scoring record for Portugal.

Ronaldo achieved success in the Nations League in 2019 in addition to helping Portugal win the European Championship in 2016.
