Kim Min-jae inks a five-year contract to join Bayern.
The defender from the Napoli team that won Serie A last year has been signed by Bayern Munich. He was one of the team's top players.
Together with Amir Rrahmani, Kim was a pillar in Napoli's defense as they won the Serie A championship for the first time in over a decade last season.
Kim was only acquired by the Partenopei from Fenerbahce last summer for €18 million (£15 million), but Bavarian has stepped in and matched his release clause to secure him away from Napoli.
Napoli is anticipating receiving €50 million (£43 million) for the 26-year-old after the Bavarian club triggered the South Korean's buyout clause last week.
While still on his preseason holiday in South Korea, Kim had his medical exam, and he might be available to take part in Bayern's first preseason game against Manchester City on Wednesday.
