Elon Musk, the owner of X, the social media network previously known as Twitter, has reactivated the account of famed American artist and stylist Kanye Omari West, also known as Kanye West or Ye.
The business informed the Wall Street Journal on Saturday that the singer's account would not be monetized and that no advertisements will display next to his postings.
West's account, which now boasts 31.5 million followers, suddenly has a golden verified tick, suggesting that X recognizes it as an official company account.
recalled that the rapper's account was banned in the month of December 2022 for breaking the platform's policies on promoting violence with his many antisemitic remarks.
since of the time of publication, it was unknown if Kanye filed an appeal or whether anything else spurred his account's reactivation, since the musician had yet to post on the site.
