Chelsea misfit Hakim Ziyech rejected Al-Nassr when the Saudi industry titans attempted to dramatically cut his pay in the wake of his negative medical test.
Ziyech has been searching for a new team since January, when a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain was derailed due to a paperwork error in which the Blues sent the incorrect documentation on the deadline day.
After a fantastic World Cup performance in Qatar that saw Morocco get to the semi-finals for the first time in history, the winger is still seeking for an exit out of Stamford Bridge.
The 30-year-old has been speaking with Al-Nassr and was on the verge of signing a £17 million contract to join Cristiano Ronaldo.
The transfer, meanwhile, seems to have fell through when the Moroccan player failed his physical.
Ziyech travelled to Madrid for more inspections, according to sportscaster Ben Jacobs.
Examinations revealed "red flags" in the former Ajax star's hip and knee.
Al-Nassr has changed their offer as a result, and they are now presenting the Moroccan with a new deal that drastically reduces his base salary by 40%.
Ziyech was hesitant to agree to such suggestion.
