The summer signing for Arsenal, Kai Havertz, identified Bukayo Saka as the Gunners player he wanted was playing for Germany.
Havertz just moved to Arsenal in a £65 million transfer from Premier League foe Chelsea.
The 2-0 preseason friendly loss to Manchester United on Sunday was the Germany international's first start for Mikel Arteta's team.
Three days before, the forward had replaced another player and scored the last goal in a 5-0 friendly victory for Arsenal against the MLS All-Stars.
Havertz, who was seated next to Saka, was asked by ESPN's YouTube channel which Arsenal player he would choose to play with for Germany.
He said: “Maybe you [Saka], so then we could play together in the national team.”
On the other hand, Saka replied, "Don’t worry, we can play together here [at Arsenal], bro!”
