Kyle Walker stuns Manchester City by agreeing to sign up for Bayern Munich in a shocking deal

Bayern Munich has been pursuing the player from England for some time, but Walker looked to put the rumors to rest last month when he expressed his desire to remain at Manchester City and entered into fresh negotiations about a deal with the club. 

Kyle Walker now appears to have changed his mind, with Sky Sport Germany stating the fact that 33-year-old has "reached a verbal agreement with the club" and is ready to join Bayern.

Kyle Walker has been an integral member of Pep Guardiola's all-conquering Manchester City squad since signing from Tottenham in 2017. 

However, he appears to be ready for a new challenge, and the rumoured £15 million ($19 million) move to Bayern Munich might be the ideal opportunity for him to gain a definite starting XI spot (with last season's 27 league appearances possibly not pleasing the veteran right-back).

Walker's prospective move to Bayern Munich might pave the way for France's right-back Benjamin Pavard to leave the club. According to sources, he's a target for a number of clubs, including Manchester United, with Bayern asking £27 million ($33 million) for the 27-year-old French international.
