Declan Rice is expected to complete his £120 million move to Arsenal on Friday, as the Gunners finalize the agreement.
?As per Sky Sports, the England player is set to join Arsenal for a fee of up to £120 million ($157 million) plus add-ons. West Ham became increasingly frustrated with having to wait in completing the processes, but the story is finally coming to an end.
The delay happened because Arsenal's attorneys took their time approving the contract's final language. After settling on a sum last month, the Hammers were eager to execute the papers, but the transfer process has dragged on for a few weeks. The highly anticipated transfer is finally scheduled to be finished as the new season approaches.
Rice recently completed his physical, and despite being on vacation in Portugal, he has been putting in effort on his fitness in order to be in peak condition when he meets the rest of the team at the Emirates.
