On Thursday, the winner of the Ballon d'Or seven times was spotted pushing a cart at the grocery store checkout with various types of cereal, such as General Mills' Lucky Charms and Kellogg's Fruit Loops, as fans wait for Inter Miami to confirm his signing by this weekend, at the very least.
Messi, who is scheduled to earn $54 million a year, arrived in Miami with his spouse, Antonela, and their three boys, Thiago, 10, Mateo, 7, and Ciro, 5, on Tuesday.
The Argentine, who stands five feet seven inches tall, even stopped to photograph with several of his US fans in Florida as he made his way out of the grocery shop.
