Man City have identified Benjamin Pavard as replacement for Kyle Walker whose set for his club exit

This summer, Manchester City has put Benjamin Pavard at the top of their list of potential new right backs.

The Citizens have identified the French defender as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker, who may depart the Etihad Stadium. 

Pep Guardiola is unable to reach a deal with Walker, who has one year remaining on his current contract with Manchester City. 

The English international is yet to sign a contract extension, despite Bayern Munich's interest. 

Kyle Walker, after winning the Premier League treble with Manchester City last season, is looking for a fresh challenge. 

Benjamin Pavard, on the other hand, appears set to quit the Allianz Arena after only a year on the job. 

Manager Thomas Tuchel does not appear to have plans for the French international. 

Fabrizio Romano, a sports journalist, revealed that Pavard is Man City's first priority if Kyle Walker joins Bayern.
