Manchester United suffers their first pre-season loss against a League Two club

Manchester United lost for the first time in preseason this summer, falling 3-1 to Wrexham at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on Wednesday.

Despite fielding a youthful-looking Reds team, with the exception of the experienced Jonny Evans, with the League Two outfit in California, first-half goals via Elliot Lee as well as Aaron Hayden place the opposition in control, with Marc Jurado grabbing one back for Man United just before the break.

United fought for most of the next half with one less player when Dan Gore was sent off in the 47th minute, but Sam Dalby scored roughly 20 minutes from time.
