Marcel Sabitzer left Bayern to sign a permanent agreement with Borussia Dortmund

Marcel Sabitzer has officially signed with Borussia Dortmund from Bayern Munich, and the Austrian has agreed to a contract that runs until June 2027.

Following the midfielder's loan stint with the team last season, Manchester United opted against signing him to a long-term contract.

The 29-year-old joins Dortmund in a deal reportedly for £16 million. 

If you remember, Sabitzer was a loanee at Manchester United during the previous campaign. Prior to a knee injury that ended his stay in Manchester with four games remaining in the season, he played 18 times for the Red Devils across all competitions and scored three goals.
