Onome Ebi, the captain of the Super Falcons, is the oldest participant in the FIFA Women's World Cup. 

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will take on Canada in their first group match on Friday morning. 

Onome Ebi, the captain of Nigeria and age 40, is the only African player to compete in six FIFA Women's World Cups.

She is the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 player who is the oldest.
