In a preseason friendly on Saturday, Ademola Lookman scored twice as Atalanta thrashed Swiss sixth division team Locarno 10-0.
Luis Muriel and Teun Koopmeiners were other Atalanta players who contributed two goals each.
Atalanta's foursome of Michel Adopo, Davide Zappacosta, Joakim Maehle, and Mario Pasalic each scored a goal.
Atalanta has scheduled friendly matches against Union Berlin and Bournemouth among other opponents.
Atalanta will then travel to Sassuolo to open the 2018 Serie A campaign on August 8.
Lookman netted a total of 13 goals in thirty-one games in his outstanding Serie A first season.
In addition, he scored 15 goals and assisted on eight others last season across all competitions.
He was voted Atalanta Player of the Season following the Super Eagles forward's outstanding initial season.
