West Ham have identified Chelsea's Conor Gallagher as replacement for Declan Rice

Conor Gallagher's contract has been officially offered by West Ham. 

Since Declan Rice departed for Arsenal, the Hammers have struggled to identify a successor. 

If you remember, Declan Rice signed a British record deal to join Arsenal for 105 million pounds. 

According to sports writer Fabrizio Romano, West Ham's offer for Conor Gallagher is in the neighborhood of £40 million.

Chelsea has not yet accepted the bid for the English midfielder, however.
