Former Chelsea forwards Kai Havertz and Tammy Abraham responded to the club's decision to release midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Recently, Loftus-Cheek moved from Chelsea to AC Milan.

Following the departures of N'Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Edouard Mendy this summer, he was the most recent player to leave Stamford Bridge.

The 27-year-old moved to Italy for £15 million, where he later signed a four-year contract with AC Milan.

Many current and former Chelsea players, including Havertz and Abraham, wished Loftus-Cheek well on Instagram.

Kai Havertz, a new member of Arsenal, stated:“Take care my brother.”

Also commenting on Chelsea Chronicles was Abraham, who left Chelsea to join AS Roma in 2021:  “So many great memories. Good luck brother.”
