A number important players for Arsenal are expected to return and be available for selection when they face Manchester United on Sunday.

Gunners supporters had been concerned that striker Eddie Nketiah may miss the match because of a knee injury.

But reportminds.com understand that the 24-year-old is fit to play, however. He was called up for England for the first time on Thursday.

Gabriel Jesus, who made his first appearance of the year against Fulham on Saturday when he entered as a substitute, might help Arsenal's attack even more. Both Oleksandr Zinchenko and the Brazilian are reportedly prepared to face United from the opening kickoff.

Takehiro Tomiyasu, who missed the match against Fulham because of a ban after his red card against Crystal Palace, made his season debut for the defence instead from the bench. This weekend, the Japan star is once again up for selection.

Mikel Arteta's team is without midfielder Mohamed Elneny and summer acquisition Jurrien Timber for an extended period of time.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is currently dealing with several injuries. Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, both left-backs, are out as the Reds look for a last-minute replacement before the transfer deadline.

Raphael Varane will miss 'a number of weeks' after being substituted at halftime in Saturday's victory against Nottingham Forest. Midfielders Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo are both dealing with injuries.

Amad and Tom Heaton are both unable to play, but there is a chance that Rasmus Hojlund, who arrived with a back injury, may make his debut. However, he has not been seen in training this week.
