Following the Lionesses of England's triumph in a penalty shootout against the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the round of 16 of the championship, Barcelona Women's Football Club teammates Asisat Oshoala and Keira Walsh switched jerseys.
Coach Randy Waldrum sent Asisat Oshoala to the bench, and she made her debut on the field during the second half of play.
Ifeoma Onumonu was substituted by Asisat Oshoala in the 58th minute of the match, and the Barcelona forward attacked the England Women's National Team's defensive line.
The Lionesses of England defeated the Super Falcons of Nigeria 4-2 to advance to the competition's quarterfinals after the teams played to a scoreless stalemate for the whole 120 minutes of the match.
After the game, England Women's National Team standout Keira Walsh walked directly to her club-side colleague Asisat Oshoala, and the two talked for a little while before switching jerseys.
